Food from the Grail, maybe. Medieval Grail romances suggested that it could produce Eucharist wafers which were as nourishing to the eater as a whole feast.

The way I always understood it was that the grail healed any thing that might be wrong or deteriorating. In a sense its a new start and not a permanent fix.
