Forbidden Eye said:HP films always do well opening weekend, and then they quickly die. So midnight showings don't mean much. None of the Harry Potter films have even beaten the first one yet(which is pretty bad considering inflation).
"We were trying to cut against the grain; we wanted to surprise people with the ending. And we ended up surprising them. But we also ended up giving ourselves a tremendous burden for the next film."

an amazing, nuanced performance from Harrison Ford. Though the whole cast was terrific, I really felt like this was Ford's film. As a grizzled old war vet whose toughness has alienated his only son, Ford managed to strike the perfect chord of badassery mixed with kindhearted regret. Who thought that a movie about cowboys, Indians, and villains fighting creepy-ass aliens would also pack an emotional punch? I didn't. And so when the tearful moments came ? right in the middle of battle ? it was a pleasure to feel more than just bloodlust.
