Perhaps they'd have prefered a set up shot less obvious, like - him balancing a bunch of oranges on his head. Seriously, some people do just moan over everything. Besides, he was stuffed in the car for the entire intro and nobidy knew - unless they look at spoilers.

Personally I thought it was great - not seen Indy for 19 years - first glimpse of him, putting his hat on. Big deal!
