A League of Their Own, and The Sandlot.

Oh, and Strictly Ballroom, because it totally counts.

Crap, I knew I was forgetting one! That, and Bend It Like Beckham. The latter reminds me of a more innocent time. A time when no one knew who Keira Knightley was, or that we should hate her.

Lost Ark, wikipedia has a whole page on baseball films.

Anyone ever notice how professional baseball players seem to have better bums than people who play soccer, football, tennis, etc.?

For the record, I hate "Field of Dreams". Watch "Eight Men Out" instead...

Also, Rocky, Raging Bull...How about "The Champ"?
Does anyone remember "The One and Only" with Henry Winkler and Herve Villechaize?

And, of course, "Knute Rockne: All American".
My sister liked "Rudy" but I've never seen it. It's good?

I've seen the original Bad News Bears. It was a great baseball flick for your average baseball and movie fan.

I haven't seen "Eight Men Out" but I'll rent it sometime.

The reason why I liked 61 alot is because I'm a Yankees fan and love the history and tradition of the team(including the whole Mantle and Maris homerun derby on breaking Babe Ruths record). The Sandlot also had alot of Babe Ruth references and was really funny.

Hmmm....

Baseball/football, not my kind of thing, really.

Horse-racing? Yeah, that's more like it.

Champions - the true story of jockey Bob Champion winning the Grand National in 1981. Brilliant - and I love the music!

Seabiscuit

Hidalgo - a different kind of racing (endurance), but also a bloody good action/adventure flick at the same time.
