FX whip, now with Hat?

Just saw this on toynewsi.com. Why didn't Hasbro just release it this way to begin with?? Apparently this has already hit retail, as well. Another example of Hasbro bungling.

I've also seen the whip repackaged with a dvd titled, "Indiana Jones Greatest Adventures". The disc is billed as highlights from the films and has a running time of 7'38.
