How Odd?

Has anyone noticed that in the opening scene of the Last crusade when young Indy goes into the magic box and escapes outside the terrain is flat and dry and there are no mountains in sight. However in the shot before that the train is travelling through lush mountainous terrain. How odd

Okay, are you sitting comfortably? Then I'll begin...

When young Indy is in the magic caboose cabin in the 3rd film (are you with me Attila?) and he makes good his escape in the box (familliarity may breed contempt) as he sprints off down the track he has certainly grown.

I blame the stunt double.

-or it may be an optical illusion (?)
