Well I just saw it. Must have been a well written movie because I felt devastated and heartbroken by the end, and not because I was dissatisfied with the writing itself per se. Tragedies are important stories within film and literature, serving as necessary cautionary tales, but man, do I not like to read or view tragic stories very often. And being a hopeless romantic, I was really rooting for our two main characters throughout, but I could tell something was off. The wrong choices kept being made, and those choices messed up what could have otherwise been a very sweet, romantic story within the fictional world of the Hunger Games. This one just hurt. I'm gonna need a real pick-me-up after this.
