I Kinda Like The 'Alien' Now

Well there is blood there. Her face basically melts as her eyes are on fire. It's weird how CGI makes horrible deaths seem less horrible. It's a very clean form of special effect. What helps in the Spalko death scene I think is her screams. Adds to the horror.

Yeah actually, that is true, her face does! Problem is she is covering her face with her hands for some of it, and she vanishes rather quickly after she has ignited! I like her death, but I'd have liked it a little bit longer, like with Donovan's - he is still alive and growling in agony when his flesh is almost gone.

The GCI did a good job but, like I say didn't go on for long enough. Forgot to add, yes! Her screams are great! When she is yelling "enough!!" I feel kind of sorry for her!

As for the "aliens only belong in science fiction" attitude people have, at the end of the day, I don't believe they do, it is just people decide to box them in to it.
