Whatever, I will just take a decent game at this point, no matter what platform.
The game was announced 2 years ago. There is absolutely nothing to suggest a “series” of games is in the work. Inside The Magic is a clickbait site; utterly worthless.Omg! They’re taking the route I was hoping they would take! Continuing Indy in video games! https://insidethemagic.net/2023/12/disney-figured-way-reboot-indiana-jones-nk1/
In case some people don't know, IO Interactive is working on a Bond game, they have a good foundation to build on with their Hitman games, especially with gadgets. I am very much looking forward to that, as well as the new Indy game.Much like James Bond, it's baffling why we haven't gotten more Indy games in the last 15 years. The last great one was Emperor's Tomb---and that was two decades ago.

Somebody find me Doug Lee!
Now, there is nothing to imply that Roger is going to be Indy in the upcoming game, even though he did seem excited on Twitter about the game being announced.
If they are not going to base Indy on Ford and they want a recast, I think he would be a perfect choice. The man is extremely talented. Thoughts?
Since they are still in the developmental phase (last I heard), I hope they create a multi-player option (for fun with a buddy), and the ability to, (even if only available for Player2/after game completion,) play in ALL Jones Family characters skins… from Sr. & Mutt to Marion as well. Maybe some cutscenes with interactions amongst them. Fans would love that stuff.
I’m sure it will be good, but those 2 things would make it really great.
I mean, they've been working on it for a few years now. So. Anything's possible.Last year Xbox only showed off games coming out in 2023, so there's a chance that Indy may come in 2024.
