The movie seemed empty, and made even Crystal Skulls OTT scenes seem very tame.

They went to the middle of the Earth, saw a few odd creatures, bit of danger - returned. Nothing really seemed to happen, no one especially seemed shocked by their experiences either.

The movie was pointless, but the 3D was very good. One of the few live action 3D films I've ever seen.
