Last Crusade in Gatineau, Quebec Canada

FRIDAY, 24. September 2010

1pm "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade". 1989, 127mins, 35mm blow-up. Presented in 70mm, 6-track magnetic Dolby Stereo

The third film Steven Spielberg's Indiana Jones series features a top-notch script with great acting turns by leads Harrison Ford and Sean Connery. It also features wonderful supporting performances by Irish beauty Alison Doody, teen-hearthrob River Phoenix, and the decidely not-beautiful nor teen-hearthrobish Denholm Elliot and John Rhys Davies (but adorable nevertheless). Their performances alone are reason enough to see the film, but it's a movie that also features exciting action sequences that rival Raiders of the Lost Ark, and excellent cinematography by Douglas Slocombe. Big screen action and adventure at its best.

It's interesting to note that it's playing at the "Museum of Lost Civilization". ;)
