Yeah, I can't tell either. It's just bad form to only show one strap.

Don't try to pass it off as screen-accurate though...wouldn't want a big kerfuffle like last time. (Although, I love how it notes "tastefully embroidered," as if in advance rebuttal of those who would suggest that it's only Indy related because they tackily slapped "Indiana Jones" on it.)

The description mentions that it has "cotton straps", which implies to me that this is more like a backpack than "Indy's purse".

I suppose you could use the contact form to find out for sure, though.

Not sure why anyone would want that when you can have the "real thing" for a little more money. Plus, who's going to carry a bag that says Indiana Jones on it?

Huh, you are right there - this is a lot crappier than the previous one!

To me, however, 45 bucks seems pretty affordable when you think that it is the real thing at less than double the price of the product first linked to in this thread. But, then again, price is a subjective concept, depending mostly on one's life situation and other expenses.

The Magnoli Bag

I have a couple of original MK VIIs and a few of the Magnoli reproductions. While the Magnoli is more of a khaki shade, it is hands down the bet reproduction of the original I have ever seen. I find myself using the reproduction just as much as the original. I also (believe it or not) have been selling a large number of these bags to women who love to use them as purses or beach bags.
Here are some photos of the bag which Magnoli sells for $36.00. It comes new but is a breeze to distress and break in. I have found that all of Magnoli's items are very well made and authentic to boot.

Personally, I don't mind the color difference as the film versions were so broken in they appear khaki on screen. To dye this bag the shade of military green like the original would be an easy project as well.
