It appears Boba and Krrsantan have a history…

Honestly the films/shows have really started to contradict the books and comics for a while now. No idea why Lucasfilm continues to insist that it’s all canon.
The books and comics since the 2014 reboot? I haven't seen or heard of any major discrepancies.

Yep since 2014. Lots of contradictions unfortunately. I could list them all but it would take a while lol.
I first noticed that with the Cobb Vanth episode of Mando, while it adapts certain elements of the original Aftermath books it doesn't really line up perfectly. But hey, Star Wars has always had weird contradictions.

Don’t forget Rey and Poe meeting in the novelization of The Force Awakens and then meeting again seemingly for the first time in The Last Jedi.

I pretty much grew up with the Morrison redub so to me, he's always been Boba Fett but it does kinda suck how Wingreen has been pretty much erased from the Fett legacy. He's not even mentioned in that new Boba Fett documentary.
That's a shame. I would hate to be in the generation that grew up with the inferior version of the OG.

That sucks man. Hopefully you don't think the prequels are good..

Thank goodness for 4K80…
What's 4k80?

This week's was really good. Surprisingly long section of just spaceship porn, but I enjoyed it so I'm not going to complain.
Very well-directed too.

Especially when he met Space Lee Van Cleef!

And yes to the insanity scenes: it really is nearing perfection now isn't it?

The direction was weaker this week I thought, much less snappy.

With the season starting to wrap up, I've found the show has been pretty solid, but not quite as strong as The Mandalorion.

The fact that the last couple of episodes have had to incorporate Mandalorion-lore into the series kinda highlight the biggest flaw of the show I think: Boba Fest simply isn't a very interesting character, at least not quite enough to carry an entire series.

The flashback scenes I think work for the most part, and they've done as good a job as they can to expand Boba as a character beyond just the shiny suit he was in the original trilogy(some complained about his "mystery" being ruined, but as someone who never really obsessed over Star Wars toys Boba Fett's mystery was never that interesting to me), but there is something missing. Can't quite put my finger on it, but it is a little hard to be emotionally invested in Fett as a lead character.

This Boba Fett isn't the one I grew up with. You caught a glimpse of the him in the S2 of the Mandalorian. But then they gave him is own show and he became something else and not that interesting to watch. After 4 episodes, the writers figured it out and started bringing in the guests of the week to save itself. However, I do like how these Star Wars Disney+ shows are showcasing these directors. The visual quality is amazing. Rivals the full length movies released in theaters.

The Boba Fett I grew up with had 4 lines of dialog, so clearly him getting his own show would dive deeper into him. Personally, the flashbacks have been great at telling his his near death experience and years with the Tuscans changed him. In think that’s the point, he’s changed. Star Wars characters don’t seem to stay the same for decades and decades, they change. Which is great!

Vulcan mind meld, Karate Kid crane pose, Untouchables briefcase bomb… wondering which 80s throwbacks appear in the finale.

I respectfully disagree with this. To me the worst part of this show is the visuals. It’s lost the Star Wars look, along with any sense of realism. The CG everywhere is too much to handle.
