Yes, the resurgence of interest in the franchise and a lot of new fans on board are arguably the best things about the new movie. And the toys give it that extra push that helps to win the kids over. I've been running into a lot of very young Indy fans that likely would never have discovered the original films if the new one hadn't gotten made. And without the new one, this line couldn't have happened.

I've seen evidence that the line has substantial crossover appeal, particularly the GI Joe fanbase and custom community, which dominates my background. I've been buyin' Joes since they started in '82, but the Indy figs are such a breath of fresh air that i still can't get enough of them. I'm actually considering cutting back on Joe and focusing more on this line.

You really should ditch the cards.

I started keeping one from Revenge of the sith and ended with a closet full of bubbles/cards that took me three years to get rid of. With the Indy cards I'm keeping only one of each different cardback.
