    Indiana Jones the animated show

It's all so perfect, yet they ignore all of it: Indy was born in 1899 to an upper-class family of intellectual types. This was before the population boom that took the world from 1 billion to 7 billion. Henry Sr. is a professor who has the connections to be able to mingle with all the...

    Indiana Jones the animated show

Because Jones' character- which Lucas created - was the perfect age to have grown up at the turn of the century when all the amazing history was happening..

    Indiana Jones the animated show

Oh man, Oganga is just... perfection. Especially with the Old Indy bookends: And it was written by Frank friggin' Darabont, might I add! Apples and oranges. YIJC was never intended to be like the original trilogy. KOTCS and DOD on the other hand... those are a fair comparison.

Young Indiana Jones. A person is born an adventurer. It takes a lot of growing up and education of all types.

Where can I get physical copies of the complete uncut series?

Is there anyone around here who has the complete, original, uncut Young Indy series as it aired originally on TV? I would gladly reimburse you. ;)

I can sort of understand if they've only seen the VHS/DVD edits, which strip the soul out of the show and bring in a sort of artifice. But the OG series is incredibly profound, heartwarming and tastefully made.

What Do You Think Happens After DOD?

As with the SW sequels, the director wanted to force the "sad old man" trope onto a character it doesn't fit; Indy is a super progressive, open-minded dude in almost every way. He's not Henry Sr.

What Do You Think Happens After DOD?

Following the release of Yes's first few albums, Pink Floyd's Echoes and Emerson Lake and Palmer's debut, Indy moves to London and forms a prog rock band in which Indy plays saxophone - with his old pal Remy on lead vocals and guitar and his old flame Vicki Prentiss on keyboards and backing vocals.

Is Mutt, in fact, actually alive?

    Somehow, Mutt returned.

The Red Heifer and the Third Temple

I tried this way back in the fourth century, and got my ass kicked by the almighty! Tread carefully, my friends.

    Indy 6 - a way forward?

I'd argue that Shia was the best part of that film. He's the only major participant who put his heart into it. Ford, Lucas, Spielberg, Koepp, Karen Allen, etc. all treated it like a high school reunion. And John Williams... he's good by default, but he's only inspired to greatness when he's...

    Indy 6 - a way forward?

This ain't about marquee value. It's a hypothetical about - in the context of DOD - 1. Saving money, 2. Acting ability, and 3. Continuity. Ford quit acting in the early 90s (see below). If KOTCS is "extra indy", then why would you even take Ford into consideration for DOD or any future...

    Indy 6 - a way forward?

Good point! I don't think Ford has any marquee value anymore. At least not to those under 50. He's massively devalued himself with BS like Force Awakens and all the random movies he's made where he sleeps through roles (i.e. Firewall, Blade Runner 2049). Compare that to Liam Neeson and Keeanu...
