Tohtally Indy - how big is the skull? I opted for Circuit City's lithographs, the second one of which actually shows Indy and Mutt opening a conquistador's mummified "bag," exposing a human skull (not the crystal skull).

I thought this was great - it was the only way Indy was able to win. He knew he was outclassed in a pure fistfight, so he took advantage of Dovchenko's leniency to turn the tide. It's not really any different than when he throws sand in Pat Roach's eyes in Raiders - he's gotta do whatever he can.

These pictures are great! If it's not too much trouble a line or two of explanation (location, etc) would be cool too!

I voted for Dovchenko, for a number of reasons. First of all, Indy and Dovchenko have quite a few encounters in the movie. This lets them build up a real rivalry that I don't think you see in the other movies - from Indy's very first scene, he's getting punched by Dovchenko. And then you have...

I remember an early sketch of Indy from the DVDs that showed him smoking. This probably would have made him seem a little different.

At the end of the movie, when the Dean is running down the hallway and he tells the poor guy to paint Indy's letters bigger on his door, he retrieves a book from a desk drawer. What is this book? The only explanation I can think of is that it is the book the priest who weds Indy and Marion is...

I noticed that indianajones.com now says Memorial Day 2008, which would be the 26th as opposed to the 22nd of May. I ran a quick search to see what the deal was but didn't find any threads, and theraider's main page still says the 22nd. Does anyone know anything about this?

Those are good points, Atilla. But even though they can still make great adventure games, they would still want the Jones games to succeed commercially, and I'm not sure that they would in the adventure form.
